Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Part Time Security officer to join our team. This position will be required to work weekends and fill in throughout the week as needed. Weekend hours are 8am to 4pm (With various adjustments) and any hours worked during the week will be on an as needed basis. Individuals will be required to pass a state background check for their licensing, a background check will also be conducted by The Oakridge School.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on-site
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or potential security threats
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have

Skills:
- Valid and Current State of Texas Non-Commissioned Security License preferred
- Previous experience in security preferred
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures, or willing to gain upon employment
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
